The dental team continues to work on treatment tooth decay as well as focusing on preventive strategies in our resource poor community where high levels of sugar intake are of a great health and dental concern. The team focuses on four broad areas:
- Dental health education for adults and children
- Distribution of toothbrushes and education on how to brush teeth
- Dental cleaning and examination
- Dental extractions and treatment to prevent further infective damage
